AMOM's Keller and RSD's Director of Special Education Turner held an informational meeting Oct. 30th

RSD recently hosted the Director of AMOM,'A Meeting of Minds', Ms. Kim Matthews Keller on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at RHS.

Keller presented on behalf of the Nonprofit Autism Support Group and Resource Portal to RSD employees and administrators.

Her topic was 'How to Make Parents Vital Members of Their Child's IEP Team,' where she  shared her personal experiences and common themes and frustrations often expressed by parents.
(IEP stands for an individual education plan.)

Approximately 45 special education teachers, resource teachers, and therapists from the Russellville School District including Superintendent Dr. Mark Gotcher and Director of Special Services Mrs. Brittany Turner were in attendance.
