For the second year in a row, Russellville School District (RSD) has been recognized as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) National Showcase District, highlighting the district's continued commitment to building strong, relationship-driven environments that foster social-emotional learning and student well-being.
Capturing Kids’ Hearts is a national organization that equips schools with tools and strategies to create relational, supportive atmospheres where students and staff thrive. The National Showcase District designation is earned through a rigorous evaluation process that measures high-quality CKH implementation across key performance indicators, including surveys of students, staff, and families.
Last year, Russellville School District achieved National Showcase District status after just two years of implementing the Capturing Kids’ Hearts® framework—a notable accomplishment given that many districts require several years to reach this level of recognition.
Additionally, eight RSD schools have been named 2024-2025 Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools for their outstanding individual implementation of the CKH process. These schools are:
Center Valley Elementary
Crawford Elementary
Dwight Elementary
London Elementary
Oakland Heights Elementary
Sequoyah Elementary
Russellville Intermediate School
Russellville Middle School
Congratulations to the entire Russellville School District for this outstanding honor and for continuing to make a difference in the lives of students every day!
