If something needs to be done, you can count on Kaitlin Hill to step up. Whether it's helping a friend, setting a positive example, or owning up to mistakes, Kaitlin doesn’t wait to be asked, she takes action.
At Oakland Heights Elementary, Kaitlin is known for her honesty, reliability, and strong sense of right and wrong. She encourages her classmates to make good choices and isn’t afraid to speak up when it matters. “When someone makes a mess, you need to own up to it and clean it up,” she said. “Even if it gets you in trouble, you need to let the teacher know.” That kind of integrity is what makes Kaitlin a trusted leader among her peers.
Outside of school, Kaitlin brings that same energy and commitment to competitive cheer at RVC Academy. She’s working hard to master her back handspring and can already land a front flip, all while dreaming of one day cheering for the Cyclones. When a teammate was recently injured, Kaitlin quickly stepped in to help without hesitation, showing that responsibility doesn’t stop when the school bell rings.
Kaitlin earned the Responsible Citizen Award through the Profile of the RSD Graduate Recognition Program, which celebrates the attributes in the promise of the RSD graduate.
