FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

\r\n

Dear RSD Families,
New guidelines set by the Division of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE), in
the Executive Summary of the Guidebook for Digital Learning has required schools
including RSD to have their virtual learning options approved for 2021-2022
school year.
In response, RSD has submitted a Digital Learning Plan to DESE with these two
options for all of our students.

\r\n

RSD students will have the opportunity to choose either on-site (in the classroom)
learning or virtual learning through our Russellville Cyclone Virtual Academy, RVCA.
If your family is interested, please try to register for RCVA by May 28, 2021.

\r\n

The current “Option B” choice for 8th-12th grade students will no longer be offered.
If you do not enroll your student in RCVA, your student will automatically be enrolled
for on-site learning at their school campus.
