Jamie Duke for cooking and serving dinner at Bingo Night. We appreciate you and your commitment and service to Dwight Elementary!


Dwight Elementary invites you and your family and friends to Bingo Night tomorrow in our cafeteria beginning at 5:30! There will be 15 rounds of Bingo with each round having prizes worth anywhere from $100-$500! Our final round will be for a PS5! You must be 18 years or older to play. We will have a Kids Club for children ages kindergarten through 4th grade for $10 per child that includes us feeding them dinner! (No other children will be allowed to attend Kids' Club.) Hamburgers and hot dog meals will be available for purchase during bingo as well. Cost of Bingo is $20 for a bundle of 20 cards or $2 per card. While we will be set up to take debit or credit cards, cash money is always best. At the end of the night, we will draw our winning raffle tickets that include a Grand Prize of $500 cash!

Mark your calendars! Our Spring Book Fair will begin on Friday, April 21 and will last until the afternoon of Friday, April 28.


Class pictures and Kindergarten graduation pictures will be Friday, April 7.


3rd Quarter Awards Assemblies are Thursday, April 6th! We hope you can celebrate with us!

Just a reminder: Yearbooks are for sale! The cost of a book is $16.00. If you misplaced your official Memory Book order form, don't worry! You can simply send money labeled with your child's name and "yearbook order".
The order forms and payment are due by Monday, March 27.

Reminder: Families of students that attend our Cyclone Adventures Afterschool Program: You are invited to our Spring Showcase on March 13. During this event you will see a presentation from the Kindness Club (at 3:45) as well as performances of Loki and the Magic Hammer and Androcles and the Lion Reader's Theaters from our Reader's Theater Club (at 4:30)


Mrs. Barkhimer's first grade students loved creating Oobleck in celebration of Dr. Seuss Day last week! The class read "Bartholomew and the Oobleck", discussed the difference between a liquid and a solid, and got to experience the non-Newtonian liquid that is oobleck! #smallschoolbigheart





Second grade students in Mrs. Childers' class have been learning to differentiate between facts and opinions by writing statements that fit in each category. #smallschoolbigheart

Mrs. Huddleston's classroom had a guest reader today in honor of "Read Across America Day"! Russellville school bus driver and author Mr. Bob Colling entertained students as he read the classic "Cat in the Hat".
Mr. Colling also read a wonderful picture book he wrote called Pomalloon!
