The last day to bring items for the Samaritan's Purse Shoebox for Kids Program is Friday, November 4. Examples of small items to include are: stuffed animals, toys (no war toys), dolls, cars, foam or plastic balls, jump ropes, hairbrushes, combs, wash cloths, bar soap, hair bows, sunglasses, socks, crayons, markers, pens, coloring books, notebooks, lip balm. (No liquids allowed) Thank you for helping Dwight Elementary give back!


The Pope County Library Bookmobile will be at Dwight on Wednesday, November 2. Please return all Bookmobile books to school on this day!

Mrs. Kelley's second grade students read the picture book "Five Little Pumpkins" before participating in a STEM activity. In this challenge, students constructed a gate that would adequately hold five "candy" pumpkins.
