Email her at tracie.carter@rsdk12.net You can also reach out to Mrs. Malin at krista.malin@rsdk12.net or by calling the school office for Mrs. Malin or Ms. Carter. We are here for you!

Don't forget this week is "Mental Health Awareness Spirit Week"!

Please note: The date for fall pictures has changed. Pictures will now be taken Tuesday, September 27.

We have the most amazing cafeteria staff! Every morning it is a dance party in the cafeteria when our students bring back the breakfast wagon. Ms. Jamie, Ms. Teresa, and Ms. Hannah love our Lil Cyclones!

Mrs. Pierce's third grade students worked hard in class on a team building activity called "Saving Sam".

We had more positive office referrals to celebrate this week!
Kadince comes to school everyday ready to learn. She is very willing to help others in the class and gives affirmations daily.
Liam offered insightful thinking during a discussion of overcoming challenges in PE. He explained to the class how "Every time you lose, you get better."
Marlei showed kindness and gave affirmations to others before going to play at recess earlier this week.
Triston goes above and beyond in his writing. He always walks the halls in F.A.M.E. and stops at Cyclone Stops to keep our class safe in the hallway.

Kindergarten students have been enjoying some fun learning activities this week! #forwardRSD #smallschoolbigheart

First grade students had so much fun building "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Trees" in a literacy/stem activity last week!

It's going to be a great day at Dwight Elementary! #smallschoolbigheart #forwardRSD

Thank you to Farm Bureau and Richard Pierce for their donation to our school. Accepting the check is Mrs. Malin, principal, and Mallory Pierce, third grade teacher.

Zayne and Dillinger were the first two Lil Cyclones of the year to sign the Brag Board by receiving positive office referrals. They each displayed an EXCEL mindset by helping others without being asked and displaying excellent character at school. Our students can receive a positive office referral by EXCELling above abs beyond and not having minimum or average mindsets.

We've had a great first few days of school at Dwight Elementary!
It's great to be a Lil' Cyclone! #smallschoolbigheart

Getting to eat lunch with the principal and having a student offer to help and be a friend to another......Just two of the many great things that happened at Dwight today!

Lil Cyclone families...We have had a fabulous and perfect start to the school year! All smiles and fun are happening here! Thank you for sharing your child with us! - Mrs. Malin
