employee and student of the month

Our January student of the month is 9th grader Hazel Smith, and she was nominated by Mrs. Moore! Here is what Mrs. Moore had to say about Hazel: "Hazel Smith is an outstanding student who consistently demonstrates responsibility and respect in all areas of school life. She is a positive leader among her peers and sets an excellent example through high moral principles, strong character, and a commitment to doing what is right.  She takes multiple classes at RHS, is NJHS President, and keeps a 4.0 gpa. She is also kind and inclusive to other students. Hazel would make a great representative for Student of the Month at RJHS. Hazel is a student athlete who has been on the Volleyball team and the Soccer team.

Our January Employee of the Month is an 8th-grade art teacher, Mrs. Anna Calavitta, and she was nominated by Mrs. Ronda and Mrs. Rydell! Here is what they had to say about Mrs. Calavitta: "She is absolutely precious.  She is willing to help anyone and everyone with a smile on her face.  She jumps in to volunteer for anything, even though she has 2 small kids at home.  I feel like she can do anything without hesitation.  The love she has for these kids is unreal, and I love it so much.  Anna has done a tremendous job with any task or activity she has been given so far this year! She never says no and is always willing to help! Her drive and awesome attitude make this campus a great place to work!"

We are so PROUD to call these two Whirlwinds!
