As we get acclimated to the new school year, we want to remind families of our morning drop-off procedures to help keep everyone safe and traffic flowing smoothly. ❤️🖤
✅ Doors open at 7:30– please do not drop off students earlier as supervision is not available.
✅ Please follow the designated car line and remain in your vehicle. Staff will be there to assist as needed.
✅ For everyone’s safety, students should exit vehicles on the curbside only.
✅The church parking lot is closed. Please don't meet students there for pickup.

Mrs. Petty is dedicated to supporting our 6th graders as they navigate the exciting transition to middle school. She’s always ready to listen, encourage, and guide students through both challenges and successes. Her caring nature and commitment to student well-being help make RMS a welcoming and supportive place for all. We’re thankful to have her as part of our counseling team!

Mrs. Robinson brings energy and encouragement to both the classroom and the cheer squad. In math, she helps students build strong skills and confidence through clear instruction and engaging activities. On the sidelines, she inspires school spirit and teamwork among our cheerleaders. Whether solving equations or leading cheers, Mrs. Robinson is all about helping students shine! We're so glad to have her here at RMS!

Mrs. Van Wie brings passion, skill, and dedication to the RMS band program. She works hard to help students grow as musicians while building teamwork, discipline, and a love for music. Whether in rehearsal or on stage, her leadership inspires students to perform their best. We’re proud to have her guiding the RMS band!

Mr. Ball is passionate about helping students become confident readers, writers, and thinkers. He creates engaging lessons that connect literature to real-life experiences and encourages students to share their ideas. His classroom is a place where creativity and critical thinking thrive. We’re lucky to have Mr. Ball inspiring young minds at RMS! 📚

Ms. Koch brings clarity, patience, and enthusiasm to every math lesson. She’s dedicated to helping students build a strong foundation in mathematics and develop problem-solving skills that will serve them for years to come. Her positive attitude and supportive teaching style make math a subject students can enjoy and feel confident about. We’re glad she’s part of the RMS team!

Mr. Harris brings energy, talent, and a love for music to the RMS choir program. He inspires students to find their voice, work as a team, and share their musical gifts with confidence. Whether it’s preparing for a big performance or learning new skills, Mr. Harris makes choir a fun and rewarding experience. We’re proud to have him leading our RMS singers! 🎶

Is your student interested in Quiz Bowl? If so, there is an interest meeting on Thursday (8/21) after school. Students will stay after school until 4:00. Please pick them up in the front car rider line at 4:00. This meeting is for interested students only. After tryouts, there will be a parent meeting at a later date. Ms. Mills is all about building connections with students and creating a classroom where everyone feels welcome. She believes learning should be fun, meaningful, and memorable. We’re so glad she’s part of our team!

🏅 Quarter 4 Awards Info 🏅 As we wrap up an incredible school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our students! 🎉 Quarter 4 awards will be presented in classrooms this year. Students will receive their certificates directly from their teachers on June 2nd or 3rd. 📬 If a student is not present on those days, their certificate will be mailed home so that every student is recognized for their accomplishments. We’re proud of all our Gales for finishing the year strong! ❤️🖤
