Happy Friday Gales! We want to remind everyone that beginning Monday, March 2nd school will be in session with normal start times. There will be NO Smart Start. Classes will begin at 8:00 a.m. Please plan for your student to arrive between 7:30-7:55 to assure that they are in their classrooms prior to the tardy bell that rings at 8:00 a.m. Also, beginning Monday-school will dismiss at 3:25 each day to make up instructional minutes for the snow days.

Mrs. G’s class has been focused on text structure this week! For sequencing/chronological order, they participated in a PB&J activity. Each student had to organize the correct steps of how to make a PB&J Sandwich, then had to follow their steps to see if they made a sandwich correctly! We had such a fun time and learned the importance of correct order! (no allergies were involved)

Russellville Gales 7th grade boys basketball with a strong season!!
A team went 15-2 and finished 13-1 with the best record in the conference.
B team finished with a perfect 17-0 record.

This week is National School Counselor Week, and we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible counselors at Russellville Middle School.
Our counselors do so much more than help with schedules. They are listeners, problem-solvers, encouragers, advocates, and steady supports for our students and staff every single day. Whether they are helping a student navigate a tough moment, celebrating a success, or quietly stepping in behind the scenes, their impact reaches far beyond their offices.
RMS is a better place because of the care, patience, and dedication our counselors bring to our school community. We are so grateful for all they do to support our students academically, socially, and emotionally.
