“We are grateful for RSD giving us the option to learn from home with the Cyclone Virtual Academy. Both our boys (3rd & 8th) are gaining so much from the lessons and their grades are truly showing it. This is definitely a rewarding experience for our family!”

RCVA Expectations

Parents can expect around 1 hour per day per subject commitment depending on the student.

Parent involvement is extremely important and necessary for success, especially in elementary school.

Students will use the Buzz Learning Management System which includes purchased and teacher-created curriculum.

Students have RSD dedicated teachers to work with them.

Students also have dedicated tech support for technical issues.

Students have the benefit of a brick-and-mortar building to visit the teachers if needed.

Enrollment is a one semester commitment.

Students will be able to participate in extracurricular activities and any course offered at the school the same as any regular or homeschooled student would be able to.

9th-12th Grades- Virtual Arkansas curriculum and teachers will be used if we do not have a certified person for a particular course at RCVA.
